Nope. It is funny because people are always saying they can't squat becasue they are not flexable enouhg. I think it is more lack of understanding of the movement. I am completely un-flexable in my hamstrings and calves yet I squat ass to the grass all the time, even deeper than those more flexable than I.

having inflexible hamstrings is not a good thing...it can really hurt your lower back which is something i realized a while ago...ever since I incorporated more stretching, my back feels alot better.
