When I played football in high school i was 230 going into double sessions. I came out at the end of the week at 210. I was wondering how can football players maintain mass while they are doin so much cardio, which seems to be muscle wasting. Also why didnt I overtrain I sure did feel like shit after a practice, but how was I ever able to recuperate even with subpar nutrition. If did the same with bodybuilding wouldnt that be a recipe for disaster.

When your not training, you need to be eating to maintain and build. Like Prince said, many pro players do use drugs as well to maintain their size.
As far as overtraining goes, it is possible but the body will also adapt to the workouts over time and recover faster for the next.
 
Out hormones in high school are going crazy, and we can recover a lot faster than a 30 year old, that may explain why we can still make gains wile lifting for 2 hours a day and running for another hour. In the pros that a different story.

Although I agree that a teen recovers faster than a 30 year old, the two hour workout is more of a not knowing how to work out with intensity than age.

That???s true, we split that so is two workout a day in the morning and afternoon, 45 min in the morning and 1 hour and 30 min in the afternoon including an abs routine.
 
No is not full body workouts, Mondays is mainly chess, Tuesdays mainly power movements like cleans, Wednesdays off, Thursdays legs and Fridays Bi try killer day. For Each day there is about 10 different exercises 4-5 sets each 6-8 reps. Can???t say exactly what we do every day b/c my coach is changing exercises constantly.

Sounds like a bit much for BBing but probably great for something like football.
Have you put on size and strength with it?

I like the power movments and have been adding in the odd one to my routines just cause I like them.

We started this routing 5 weeks ago sense then I???m up 7 lbs probably like 3 of those are LBM not sure, I do feel my strength have gone up exactly how much I???ll find out in 6 more weeks.
