once and for all....please tell me. does anyone have a method for cooking hardboiled eggs where they hardly ever end up with half the egg coming off with the shell when it comes time to peel 'em?

so frustrating! i swear i cook them the same every time and some days i have no problem peeling them and other times i literally lose about half the white with the shell.
i want to believe there's some secret that can change my life.
