non-9 attacks the health of the sperm...killing most of them, but sometimes it merely weakens them, and if the sperm (which is defected now) reaches to fertalize the egg, the chance of the baby developing normally is reduced.

weird..... i was just thinking... i wonder if a guy could prove he took every reasonable precaution to prevent pregnancy like used a condom with spermacide for instance, and if a girl has no qualms with that she should have none with using the morning after pill if the condom breaks especially since the non 9 increases chances of a deformed child.... could all this be an arguement against being a father in court if the girl does become pregnant? deciding to keep the child would be the woman changing her mind after they as a couple decided the sex was not to result in conception.... her choice her resposibility unless the male decides to change his also.

i think it is a legitimate idea. if you are being careful and responsible with a gun and someone accidentally gets killed it is taken into consideration that you were acting in accordance with the law and you are not charged with a crime. car accident same thing. i have a son and i think there is a world of difference between him taking a risk in getting a girl pregnant and him acting in a manner to protect them both. if the latter is the case he should then have just as much right as the woman to decide the outcome.

This is the standard and not unusual. Men have no rights and can be forced to pay for another mans child as well as pay his ex for cheating on him and/or getting pregnant with another mans child..

Good point, it seems the "court" has no interest in the childs rights. I think all the money should be accounted for and that a limit to the amount of child support shouild be set.

This isn't always the case though. Recently my mom's house payment went up, as well as insurance on the house, and then her car insurance went up. We were struggling as it was, but now it's worse. Besides that she's buying me a truck ( going in with my grandma, grandpa, and aunt ) so that I can work and hopefully help a little bit. If my Dad hadn't sent child support this month ( 300$ ) we wouldn't be able to make the house payment. Sometimes it's needed.

$300 is a very low amount to pay....your Dad should be glad that's all he pays.

911 is talking about fathers who make great livings 100K plus. I think the child should get a fair share of cash, but I see no reason to make a man who is paying $800 a month for one child to then be forced to pay $1800 just because he was smart and/or hard working enough to double his income.

Birth control is the woman's responsibility, so if the condom breaks and she is not on the pill or fixed, it is her fault and, thus, the man is absolved of any wrongdoing.

Pregnancy can still occur if a woman's on the pill... It's rare, but it happens.
