Just wanted to share with everyone the new couscous that I found at the store today. Since I am done dieting and back to putting on size I love to try and find different carb sources to eat that are what I would consider clean but a bit different than the ones that I eat when dieting (which I still eat a lot of anyway).
Today I was looking for couscous and stumbled upon some made by the company Hodgson Mill. it is Whole wheat couscous with milled flax & soy. The ingredients are couscous (precooked whole wheat durum flour), roasted soy chips, milled flax). There is 450mg of Omega 3 per serving. Here is the Macronutrient profile:
serving size is 1/3c dry (which comes to 1c cooked)
calories- 230
fat- 2g (0 saturated and 0 trans fat)
carbs- 48g total (6g fiber; 1g sugar)
protein- 10g
