Ingredients
2 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 black pepper
3/4 cup uncooked rice
1 (4oz) can of mushrooms (or Fresh)
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 tbsp minced parsley (fresh or flaked)
Yellow pepper (optional)
Onions (optional)
Vegetable cooking spray
-Combine water, Garlic powder, and salt in a heavy sauce pan; bring to boil and add rice
-cover rice and reduce to simmer for 20 min or until water is absorbed
-coat non-stick skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat until hot
-add mushrooms, celery, yellow peppers, and onions and let saute for 5 min
-stir in parsley
-then add rice and toss gently until combined
-eat
