WATERMELON WITH BLACKBERRIES AND PEAR PUREE
3 SLICES OF WATERMELON 3/4 INCH THICK EACH
1 1/2 CUP BLACKBERRIES
PEAR PUREE
Cut each watermelon slice into 10 wedges, Cut rind from wedges and remove seeds. Arrange wedges on 6 dessert plates. Top with blackberries. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until chilled Top each serving with Pear Puree. Serves 6: 100 calories per serving.

PEAR PUREE:
2 MED PEARS
1/4 LIGHT RUM
Pare pears, Cut into fourths; remove cores and stems. Place pears and rum in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on medium, or process, about 1 minute or until smooth.


STARFRUIT AND STRAWBERRIES IN CHAMPAGNE
2 STARFRUIT
1/4 C SUGAR
2 C STRAWBERRIES, CUT IN HALF
3/4 C CHAMPAGNE OR SPARKLING CATAWBA GRAPE JUICE
Cut starfruit crosswise into 1/4-inch slices. Sprinkle with sugar. Let stand 30 minutes, Spoon starfruit and strawwberries into 6 dessert dishes. Pour champagne over fruit. 6 servings: 75 calories per serving.
