I took Essentials today after taking 6 days off. I figured I would need all the help I could get to get today's workout done, seeing as I set myself with a pretty hard workout and I usually get a bit blase in the anaerobic department after taking time off.

Even though I felt that I may not have been able to complete the workout 1/3 in, I ended up accomplishing it. Sometimes I put too much on the table training wise and crap out in the middle of it so I have to cut back my training for the day. Even though I felt the familiar feelings that my body wasn't going to be able to go on, I could. The rest of the workout went fine and I didn't get nearly as tired as I thought I would overall, although the day was very tough.

Good shit. I'd buy some Essentials if I had the money to spare.

I know my writing blows right now, but I'm exhausted from that workout.

Creatine, BCAA's, beta alanine, some other stuff. Basically a supplement for training longevity and recovery (mostly during workout).

Whoever made that website has some serious Microsoft Front Page skills.

Nice review man, how did it mix for you and was the taste masked?

Nice review, thanks! I get the same way. Even after just a couple of days off.

I mixed it in water. I know it said to use milk, or something flavored, but I'm going low carb so I didn't use milk, juice, sports drink, etc.

It tasted pretty awful (kind of expected that) and I had trouble mixing it, but I just pounded it. Some of the dry powder rose to the top, it was strange how it wouldn't mix in.

The protein/essentials mix was very good, though. I liked the taste of that.

Goddammit Don't you hate that shit!??
Fucking scientific water polarity surface tension bullcrap or whatever. Can't stand that. I have one of those blender bottles with the spring ball knocker blender shlt in it. I've finished a big ass shake many times, over two hours or more of working out or whatever and then theres a big ass ball of goo in there still inside the spring ball that breaks open to dry whey mix. I mean like about half a dam scoop. I don't use it any more. I found that oats in the mix works wonders. Don't know about this stuff youre talking about though.
