Hey guys im new here. Ill give you a backround on what ive been doing so far: Im 22 years old, 5'10 and weigh around 180. About 7 months ago i started taking serious mass optimum nutrition to help me gain weight. When I first started I weighed around 140. The rapid gain in weight surprised me and made me feel better but my goal is to get to at least 200-210. For a couple months now ive been stuck at 180. The protein shakes combined with my balanced food diet ie; fruit, veggies, meat and so on put my calorie intake at almost 5000 a day. My job helps me keep my cardio up and i work out at home 3-5 times a week 1-2 hrs a day so i know im in good shape. Im trying to do this naturally but I have no idea what to do to get that last weight gain. I would love to hear some feedback from you guys especially if someone can relate to the same problem.

Possibly throw some createin in the mix...
Whats your workouts look like? 2 hrs working out is too much IMO. If your going for size, and going intense, you should only be able to lift for about 45mins to 1:15 mins max.
Plus muscle grouping when working out should help.
something like Tri-chest one day and bi back the next, and legs the third day.. 2 days of rest between each muscle group

I'd need to approximate how much fat you're carrying, your macro/caloric structure and a baseline of calories taken over a weeks time.

Signal,
Better combination would be day 1 chest/back, day 2 quads/calves standing for sets of 10, day 3 delts/high rep ham work, day 3 hams again but for power and back thickness (deads are great on this day)/biceps/seated calf for high reps.

Actually im doing something very similar. Day 1: bi's, lats, forearms
Day 2: tris, chest, shoulders
Day 3: back, legs
I try my best to balance out the muscle groups allowing time for rest.
Every second day I do AB workouts as well. I'm not too worried about the workout but I definitely need something to help me give that extra edge for gaining mass/weight.

you can prefer having creatine but caution! This will also give you a kick up to your mass and give u a rapid gain 10-20 pounds! but only till you are consuming it :P
i prefer other ways:u may try to increase your serious mass intake and you can also try a medicine i have heard about it increases the appetite and and you can mix your supplementation with natural high calories diet :ohyeah:

The interesting thing is I've Ben adding creatine to my protein shakes for a few weeks now and I've noticed results pretty quick. Only a few pounds in weight but I have more energy, I've added more resistance in my workouts and more sets for AB workouts. I like the idea of a medicine to increase my appetite; do u have any details on it?

Creatine does not lead to 20lb gain. What medicine are you referring to? This thread is getting more hilarious the posts go on.

any supplement including creatine will not make you gain quick muscle weight, you will gain muscles if you workout and eat properly healthy food and this muscle gain will come slowly ..any quick 20lbs gained in a month means you are just gaining fat, so keep doing what you are doing you can step up your lifting or split it ..you are 22 and still on the rise
