Okay, I know a lot of it is to do with bodyfat but my bodyfat is starting to get pretty low now, it was recorded at 11% 2 days ago, 2 weeks ago it was 13.7%, so thats some nice progress thanks to some of the diet "do's and dont's" i've learn on here

I'm starting to see a more defined waistline, the area around my abs and above my hips and that is looking a lot more lean, my back is looking great, chest a lil small for my liking but its still pretty pumped, 1 of the areas i'm not totally happy with are my arms....

i have a bit of a cut starting to show in the back of my arms between the rear shoulder and the tricep, but i can't seem to get any definition between my front shoulder and my bi's, any ideas how i can get this 1??

i don't really want to go back to bulking until i have this cut because its something i desire, and if i can't get it after a cut when am i gonna get it

also are supersets advised when cutting? if i was to still lift my normal heavy sets but add a superset or drop sets on the last set would that help trim some fat off the muscles? (i heard light weights trim fat off your muscles aledegly giving you that more toned look, so i wondered if ss/dropsets could be used to the same effect when trying to get really cut??)

thanks

Supersets, drop sets, etc. will not make you cut. Diet and cardio and lowering your bodyfat will.

Supersets and drop sets are techniques that should be used very sparingly. They do compromise the amount of weight you can lift.

You may not be able to see that cut that you want because you may just need to be at a lower bodyfat level. There are people whom I have seen at 7% who don't have cuts. It's not just the percentage, it's where it is distributed and that is different for everyone.

are supersets and dropsets a tool for strength then?

i thought they were more of a cardio exercise in the sense that they are a lower weight, and doing light weights slow can aid fat loss? or am i wrong?

say i have fat distributed in a certain area eg backs of legs and bum, is there a way i can target those areas to help me lose fat there... or is there seriously no way to spot reduce, i mean i'm pretty happy with my upper body, its lean enough for me now, its just there is fat on my arse n' that kinda takes my lean/muscular look away from me as it messes with the proportions of my body

i'm worried i'ma end up at like 2% BF and still have fat on my arse and still not have that cut on the front of my arms...

probably just need some reassurance

I HIGHLY doubt you'll be able to get to 2% and even if you do and try to maintain that you'll be at a serious health risk. |I wouldn't get below 5-6% and try to maintain it - besides, at 5-6% you'll be super ripped.

The only way you can "spot" reduce is lipo suction.

Derek --- I think Young was being sarcastic with the 2% b/f issue. He's saying he'll lose it everywhere else and not there.

It will come off bud. Just continue to eat right and put your cardio in.:thumb:

yeah thats what i've started doing

and yes it was a sarcastic comment, obviously i do not wish to drop that low... 8-9% would be fantastic ATM, maybe aim for around 6-7% in the future, but gotta take one step at a time

thanks babsie for the support

Darned cyber sarcasm, I can't detect it through text!
