How many illegals are the in US and come across the border every year? Upwards of 20,000,000 and 500,000, respectively.

The effects on crime in the US? Nearly one million sex crimes are committed by illegal immigrants. The largest gang in the US is composed almost entirely of illegals. In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.

The effect on infrastructure? 30% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens. $90 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare & social services. $17 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens.

The general effect on American lives? 12 Americans are killed by illegals every day, plus 13 killed by drunk Mexican drivers.

So really, what research have I missed? What bit of information that I've yet to read can counterbalance all of that and make it okay for Mexicans to come here as they please?

But, I am not blind to the obvious effects they have on certain US areas. Arizona has a right to defend it's tax paying citizens. As a matter of fact, Arizona SHOULD protect it's tax paying citizens. It should be the job of the state to protect its local economies, and the welfare of the people who work their asses off to keep this crippled economy going.

Being Mexican myself I've been dealing with racism for a long long time while I myself have never acted in a racist way towards anyone of any race, religion, or creed. Until a lot of you are victims of REAL racism then you will all know what it feels like to be constantly insulted for being born they way you where born. try growing up in the southwest in the mid 70's going to school where you and your sister are the only spanish people other than the 1 teacher.
you speak a several Languages english is the primary. the teacher tell you it might be best not to speak the other languages you know because the teacher and students won't know what your saying Oh and i could affect your grade. this came from the spanish teacher.. So what you think might be racist chances are its not.that word is over used everyday. because your boss teacher want you to do the work at the job or the teacher want a real report .....so unless they are spitting on you or calling you names hitting or in some way keeping you down..Try harder to get to your goals only you are responsable for your own life.just a thought

Heh, you know nothing of what I have gone through. It doesn't matter if I was getting sprayed with water for revolting or not. Try having racist slurs chanted at you at while playing soccer for your high school. Try your whole team being denied service at a restaurant because they don't serve "your kind". Just last week I went to a college football game and as me and my friends made our way walking through a tailgate we got the good old "fucking dirty mexicans". Racism is more than just spitting and hitting, don't tell me what racism is. Two weeks ago I was lost in a city where I had a doctors appointment and I asked this white guy who was offering chip repair under a tarp where the nearest bus stop was, well I tried asking him at least. Before I could even finish the first three words he told me to ask somebody else and turned his head away. It was funny cause after walking straight ahead I ended up finding a bus stop 2 blocks down.

My big sister and I both moved here from Mexico. Go and tell my sister who was already 10 how hard it was to learn English in a school where Mexican teachers themselves only wanted you to speak English just ask them a question about what they where talking about. Try having less quality clothes and being judged for not having name brand sneakers like the white kids. Try being 9 years old at a toy store in front of everyone in the waiting line and having all the other people be attended before you despite being the FIRST in line. You think this is it? Oh trust me, I got a lot more stories to share if you want to hear some more.

I know it's my responsibility to achieve my own goals and I have personally learned to not give a fuck anymore about what racists fags have to say. All I am saying is that I HAVE experienced racism and the world would be a much better place without it. I was a blond haired blue eyed pale skin in an all mexican/black low income complex in Houston from 6-10 yrs old, I thought my nickname was honky, I had to fight for the same respect the other kids got because they were minorities and I mean fisticuffs fight, one time with 2 mexican brothers for over an hour while my dad and his friends watched. Moved from there to s just on the edge of urban suburb where everyone was a minority even the whites, just a huge mix....got called white trash many times and had to still fight for respect a few times....Now I live in Hawaii where Asians are the majority, I have been called "stupid fucking haolie" so many times for no reason, had a beer bottle thrown at me while I rode a motorcycle through Waikiki by a few Pacific Islanders in a truck screaming my new nick name "Fucking Haolie"

The thing is I never got angry about it, I didn't take it personally nor as a swipe at anything I hold dear because I was always taught that we are all just human with the same set of emotions and intelligence, that bigoted attitudes are found in every shade of person, that for every asshole of every race there is at least 3 times as many people with my attitude....
