bees are the gayest insects there are . . chances are if you stood without pants on they would fly straight for your arse . . just try and prove me wrong :coffee:
Being that they go for the brightest part of your body because of the animals they deal with are coated with fur, like bears with their light colored nose, you always see bears swiping at their noses when they're getting honey...

of course they're going to go for that sparkling white ass, it's got less fur cover....I feel like Paul Mooney for some reason....

I mowed again this morning and NO bees. :)

Drunk wasps may attack us, warns Red Cross
First aid experts advise anyone eating outside to beware stings and keep a credit card to hand

Record numbers of ?jobless? wasps are more likely to attack us because they are drunk and aggressive, the British Red Cross has warned.

With their queens fully supplied with all the nectar they need, worker wasps now have nothing to do but laze around getting drunk on fermenting fruit, according to environmental authorities.

Perhaps better described as retired than ?jobless? ? since all the workers will have died out by the time winter comes around ? the insects are becoming increasingly bold and angry in their old age.

The long cold winter and late spring mean many more wasps are around now than would be expected for this time of year, so those enjoying the remaining summer sun with them have been advised to take care.

Joe Mulligan, head of first aid at the Red Cross, said: ?It?s hilarious that, now worker wasps have finished their life's work, all they are doing now is feasting on fermented fruit and getting ?drunk?.

?The danger for humans of course is that they may get a bit bold and attack us while we are out having a barbeque in the garden, sun bathing in the park or innocently going our merry way.?

Mr Mulligan advised people eating outside to keep a credit card to hand.

He said: ?When an insect sting is visible on the skin, a credit card can be used to scrape it away. Using the edge of the credit card, drag it across the skin. This will remove the sting. Using a credit card or your fingernail is preferable to using a pair of tweezers. Some stings contain a sac of poison and if it is grasped with tweezers you may inject the sac of poison into the skin.?

While we?re being careful, Mr Mulligan also warned people to bear in mind the power of the sun ? even if it is September. He added: ?Simple steps such as avoiding exposure to the hottest time of the day, drinking plenty of fluids and even simply wearing a hat on hot days can all make a real difference.?

Im not a entomologist but the insects in the video appear to be a type of ground hornet, not bees. This is an important distinction because 1 hornet can sting multiple times. Either way most hardware or home stores sell wasp and hornet killers in aerosol cans that shoot a stream up to 20 ft or so. It pretty much drops them on contact. I find them in the ground around here some and they will attack my horses if they are disturbed. Its fun to wait til right about dusk as that's when most are back in the nest. I just stand back and hose those stinging fuckers as they fly out and laugh as they drop like acorns off a tree in the wind. They twitch a little once they land. It can be quite entertaining esp if you've ever been hit by those painful bastards.

when I was little and had a horse I would always wait until it was dark and poor gas down the yellow jacket, wasp nests that were in the ground. I never fucked with them besides that, never had many in the trees at least not on our property.

At one point my father was a beekeeper.

Soap and water will kill bees. Put soap in one of those plant fertilizer contraptions that hooks to a hose and quirt them. Works well but a little slow. The other thing that will kill them and repel them is actually moth balls. I had a bee problem in a prior house and I put mothballs in womens pantyhose around the eves of my house and they never came close. Works in trees as well. Don't let kids near them as they are very toxic.
