Good amount to cardio?

Well I just started my cutting, and basically I do a "fat-burn" program (running) for about 20 minutes a day, throughout which I increase the speed to max for a few mins, then slow down for a few, then back up again etc.

Just wanted to see if this was the correct way to attack my body fat with minimal muscle losses, or is longer duration with less intensity better? I could run for hours if I decreased the intensity, but I think that would result in more muscle losses right? Just want to make sure I'm doing proper fat cutting! So I don't end up doing it for months and it's the wrong type of routine!
 
It sounds like you got the right idea. That type of cardio is probably one of the best ways to burn fat without muscle loss. just be sure your eating enough protien and that your diet is really clean.
