Yesterday, I did an intense workout on my lower back, in fact I incorporated GOPRO's workout plan "Power."

Rack Deadlifts
Bent Row
Weighted Chin-ups
Seated Rows

I never realy focus my lower back muscles, so it was the first time I did Rack Deadlifts and Bent Row. The next day, my lower back was very sore. The question is: is this good pain or bad pain? Everytime I bend down to sit in class or to take a dump, i have a slight pain right in the lower back. Thanks in advance you guys are very helpful.

I'm no expert, but currently I am alternating between power and rep week on Gopros workout plan. Just wait a little while and see if it goes away, if its just soreness it should be gone fairly quickly.. if not you may have hurt something..

Again, I'm not expert or even quasi-expert.

If it's just "soreness" that okay, and remember the lower back is one of the slowest healing muscle groups and it could take 6-7 days for full recovery.

A pain in one side of the lower back sounds like a strain, but it's difficult to diagnose that for someone else.

if you havent trained lower back, its more then likely ''sore muscles''.give them 3-4 days and get ''back'' to us. bad pun.:help:

hahah, thanks tank, prince and ralphie. Yeah, its still sore, but im am now confident that it is just muscle soreness. Thanks for all your advice.
