Hello Fellow Genetic Freaks!!!!!!!!!!!


I'm currently doing shrugs, 150 pounds, ten sets of ten.


I'm thinking of moving over to Barbells to increase the
weight factor.


How should I have my hands positioned on the bar?


Close, Middle, or, far apart?

shoulder width apart or just a little bit wider
 
not sure what shrugs are but seems your doing too many again
 
10 sets of 10! jesus. 3 sets to failure would probably be better. watch out for your nads as well. that bar can squash em sometimes lol
 
10 sets of 10, a little GVT? (German Volume Training?) :D This has become my favorite routine, love the pump!
 
i personally prefer dumbells to barbels for shrugs.
 
if your looking for definition i'd go with 3 sets of 8-12. if you dont fail somewhere in that range, move the weight up or down accordingly. dont ever cheat by using your arms. try to go slow when doing shrugs, cause the descending motion matters too. dont rush as fast as you can to get more reps, and keep that barbell in your hands.;)
