How much do you pay each month for your membership? If you don't mind, give me your total cost. For example:

When I joined Bally's six years ago, it was $99 down, then $35 a month for two years. After that, monthly dues were $8.50 (and have creeped up to about $13 now).

My gym at work is free.

My home gym is free (after initial investment)

The area I live in has 3 rec centers that we belong to, it's part of our home owner association dues.
That runs us around $32 per month for the family.

$33/month, 0 down. Fee has not changed in a year. I know people that have been paying the same fee for over 5 years. The gym's fee has gone up, but you kindda lock in you fee and stick with it when you join regardless of whether the gym fee goes up or not. They are charging $39/month with $99 down at my gym now.
