actually that's a good point; when I am nearing my contests, my cardio (HIIT or low impact) takes a nosedive where I will rev up my system since it's so low and bored that I change things up and use circuit training. This will be when I actually start seeing my abs really pop. I do this for 6 weeks before the contest and it really seems to increase whatever fat burning needs to be dealt with.I still think for people just getting started that cardio should be a major staple in losing weight, however under 15 percent it seems to lose alot of effect, I mean i had to do more and more to get the same burn, and once I had the stamina to lift hard for an hour that became much more effective.
