Hi all,

I have been having some problems lately, and I would really appreciate any assistance you could provide me with.

1) I noticed after my last work out my hands (especially my right) turned pretty dark purple - the palm area and part of the back side. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a bruise or anything, hadn't hurt my hand and it faded a while after the workout. Any ideas?

2) Seem to be putting on muscle on my arms which is one of my primary goals, and they are really lean as is the rest of my body except for my stomach. Seem to be putting on more fat in my stomach area.

I am eating clean and following nutritional advice on the other forum, but I have not been doing much cardio (ocassional sports but nothing much).

How much cardio should I do to lose this extra fat in this area? I'm just worried about doing too much so that I burn up lean muscle mass.

30 Also, I have had stomach pain recently while doing crunches (few weeks ago by now actually). Went to doctor said I probably just pulled something so rested a week then didn't do any crunches for a week after that. Two weeks later I started doing crunches again and the pain is gone but I can only get to 20 my first set before the pain comes back and 10 for the sets after that.

Its a pretty sharp, unbearable pain. Should I just be content with 10 reps per crunch set or push my farther? Really want to get my abs in shape just worried about this pain.

Thanks!

1st- It seems that there is a rush of blood in your hand. Probably if you are new to the workout it might be the problem or heavy weight I am not sure. Give some weeks if continue see a doctor.
It depends on your nutrition
2nd- cut carb and moderate cardio
3rd- Your body has not used to the crunches. After a while your body will adopt to the crunches. Do not do too much of crunches stop when feeling the pain. By the way how long have your been working out?
