Which routine/program would help gain mass/strength faster? I am looking to gain 25+ lbs in 12 or less weeks. Im currently bulking and following a 3-day full-body split.

-HIIT
or
-5x5

5x5. 25 lbs in 3 months is a lot but it can be done and with a small amount of it fat. Eat until you can't eat any more, wait 2 hours, repeat, wait 2 hours repeat, etc. etc.

If you really want the 25 lbs take in 5500-6000 calories a day, most of that coming from quality foods. Im talking a truckload of chicken, beef, brown rice, oats, weight gainer, milk, cheese, whole wheat bread, eggs, cottage cheese, fish, and on and on. Don't be afraid of a little bit of junk food, just don't over do it. try to take in 2-2.5 grams of protein per pound, 4-4.5 grams of carbs per pound of bodyweight, and about .75 grams of fat per lb. This is just a rough estimate, and many will disagree that this is too much food, but I say, eat even more than this, shoot for 6500 calories and 3 grams of protein per pound.

It is extreme to do all this but if you want the 25 lbs bad enough then it is all within reach.

P.S.- I hope you have a good amount of $ for these next 3 months because its going to cost you an arm and a leg.

First year lifting??? you can put on 20Lbs of pure muscle if you have a great diet and workout...
Second year 10-15lbs is great....most can only gain 10lbs by this point
third year 8-10 lbs
fourth year and on 1-5 lbs per year.

The bigger you get the harder it becomes to gain more muscle mass and strength.

I'd have to say this is correct. I just finished putting on 19 lbs in 5 weeks. For the first time in the last 18 months ny diet was shit for those 5 weeks. Yes I gained around 3/4" on my arms but gained 1.25" on my waist. Am I happy, fuck no.
I wish i would have watched my diet as good as I did while cutting. I would have put 3/4" on my arms and maybe 1/2" on my waist. That 17 lbs was a lot of fucking water and fat and gaining 2 lbs of LBM and no fat in those 5 weeks would have been better.
