Help me pack a bit more protein into breakfast.

So I'm really working hard on adhearing to this cutting diet, and getting things figured out. I have every meal nailed except for breakfast.

Here is what I have been having
1 hard boiled egg (whole)
5 hard boiled egg white
1 package of Quaker Oats regular flavor oatmeal
Kcal 385
9g fat
33g protein
41g carbs

I like the fat where its at, but I need to add 20g of carbs. I can just add eggs until I get there, but I'm already eating six eggs as it is and I'm limited on time when I eat at work.

Ideas???

50g protein/40g carb is sort of an unusual split for breakfast...and are you sure those packets have 33g carbs each?

But anyways, you could go with the egg whites, or just some whey.
 
just have a protein shake in the morning as well, and drop the eggs to maybe 3-4.

Shakes are quick as hell, make and then destroy mine in less than 3 mins
 
i agree w/the others add a shake. But 50 grms pro is a bit much for breakfast on a cut imo. The meal u said up top sounds fine to me w/out the added pro.
 
I was told to try and eat 1-1.2g of protein per lb of body mass. We had discussed this in another of my recent threads. I weigh 245lb at present, so thats 294g of protein if I use 1.3g which I have been able to do dispite the short start with the morning protein intake. I am just trying to balance all of this out more and get equal quantities from my meals.

294g divided by my six meals is 49g per meal. Thats how I am arriving at this.

If I understand you want to increase carbs (not protien) then just add some fresh fruit.

Nope trying to increase protein....I'll just add a shake.
