Ok, this sucks.
I have to have back surgery to fix a herniated disc so obviously I won't be lifting for quite some time. I had currently been bulking, eating about 3000 calories a day. Now I'll be laying in bed all day every day for quite some time. How should I adjust my calories, carbs, protein, and fat to compensate for the fact that I won't be doing anything? Also, will any supplements help to preserve muscle? I'm 20 years old, 6'0 and 175 lbs (skinny fat). Thanks!
