im new to lifting. im enjoying it. for just about every body part im able to lift till fialure and then use the same wieght on the next set.. get about the same amount of reps.. just puush. but for some reason when i work my biceps i tend to have to drop the wieght alot after every set. my bicep just locks up and i cant seem to finish any where near what i started with. anyone have any help with this? thanks guys.

It just takes time. Some people are gifted in some areas where as some people have to work harder on certain mucsle groups to get stronger. Just stay focused and it will come. Once you have some time in the gym you can try negatives on your biceps which will help with srtength. Remeber time and hard work is the key to your success along with a proper diet.

hey, are u doing whole body workouts every time you work out? cuz if you are, and youre doing rows and various other exercises, you could be exhausting your biceps before you actually hit them directly. this isnt nessecarily a bad thing, as long as you notice improvements on a regular basis.

can you write down the exercises that you did on that day?

we do incline chest presses, then one-arm rows, then incline chest flyes and then two arm rows. then we do bicep curls, tricep pull downs, concentration curls, then dips.

One of the basic truisms of lifting is that ALL muscles are different. Don't judge your biceps based on what your triceps can do, they're two completely different muscle and must be treated that way. Just go into the gym and push yourself and your muscles as hard as you possible can every time you lift, you'll get bigger and stronger.

(One minor note: In the grand scheme of things biceps are VERY small muscles. Don't worry if they give out faster than other muscles, it's just the way biceps are.)
