Why arn't the protestors Protesting Wall Street and Obama?...

After all Obama bailed out the banks and big buisness while leaving the people high and dry, Wall street helped pay for Obamas Campaign. I can gaurentee if a Republican was the POTUS they would be in Washington...

The sham here is that the protesters are being used by the establishment and they don't even know it...

You may criticize the tea party and not agree with their message, but you can't deny the fact that they got shit done by having a clear message and voting candidates that wern't fiscal out...

Now the Republican party is all about being fiscal...

If the protestors want shit changed they should march to Washington and tell Obama what they want and if he isn't willing then they should find a candidate that is willing and support him/her...

There is no clear message of what the protestors want...

And how they want it fixed...

It has just become a big mess...

That fiscal responsibility BS went out with bush, please, don't make that argument.

Negative. That's what these guy's want to portray, but it couldn't be further from the truth.

If anyone doesn't agree with what the people stand for, you're not a person, but a puppet!

We all live in this country, we all see what is going on..not just a few.

Now I think I've come to a conclusion of what these people are, and what they represent. I'm referring to the establishment in charge. I'm just going to let more shit hit the fan before I say it.

Tact is what it's about.

Do these "conservatives" even know what that means?

They sure don't show it.

I have always stated that I am not a fan of Bush because of all his spending...

And the Tea Party came after all the Bush and Obama spending...

The Tea Party walked the talk and voted establishment members out who were not fiscal, they didn't just stick with the establishment...

The Tea Party is a discussion we can have on another thread...

Help me understand what the Occupy wallstreet is all about...

Why are they not marching in Washington in front of the Whitehouse?...

Why do they support Obama when he clearly isn't any different than the rest...

What are they wanting and how do they want it done?...

I told you, never let anyone dictate to you....

My friend, why are you soo adament on not letting people protest what they deem unjust!?

Never mind the Constitution.

How would that make you prosper?

I don't know about you, but that guy from India who borrowed 5 million from your government to open some hotels is also BS.

If I could've borrowed that, I wouldn't have had to join the Marine Corps.

Seem fair to you?

My friend...

I have never said they should not protest...

Everyone has a right to protest...

I just have questions about the protest that no one involved in the movement can seem to answere...

It seems people disgruntled with life are just protesting to vent their frustrations with life and blaiming CEO's and Big buisness...

If the protestors are not looking for change, but just an outlet to vent then so be it...

Again I say it seems because I have not been able to find a clear message on what the protestors are wanting changed and how they want it changed and why when asked if they support the current administration they say yes but are angry at Wall street getting bailed out and not the people. It's as if the movement is contradicting itself...

People in Wall street can give 2 shits about these people, they are going to continue buisness as usual...

The way I look at if you truly believe the system is fucked then protest where change can happen and to elected representatives...

They are protesting all over the US, you would think the logical thing to do would be to protest in D.C. and to the President...

This is all I'm saying...

protesting wallstreet is a tactic that has drawn a lot of attention. This was the purpose. People have been protesting in washington for decades with no useful outcome.

here's the effect they're having.....a statement from the average american:

people are protesting somewhere again? don't care

:coffee:

I, unlike several people on the right, can't speak for a milliion of souls, as much as you would like me to.

I can't!

I have my own concerns in my own community, I can speak on those!

But still wanna bitch and moan.

Nah das pussy...

Wall-street has always been the symbol for the US economy not 1600 PA Ave.

they have the deep pockets, they employee the lobbyists that pull the strings of the politicians, that have the laws changed to favor their interests. it has been this way since the 70's.

All this is true, the question is what has this accomplished besides violence and more expenses for local police? Are you seeing things getting debated in congress? Is there a common and clear message, not really. People are 100% allowed to protest but at least large organized ones in the past had a very clear purpose and message. A lot of what I THINK is being protested needs to be addressed but again, what is this generating in regards to change? :hmmm:

Just like I said in my post above, attention they have got but it is only good if it sends a clear message the leads to action. You are right protesting in Washington tends to get ignored outside of DC, if you even hear about it at all. I still think a lot of what MAY be being protested needs to be directed towards Washington, the laws that allow all of this mess to take place mind, come from there. The companies just exploit them to their benefit, just like anyone would do in that situation when it equates to massive profits.

Thankfully, 90% of all blacks support Democrats. :coffee:

How ironic. Whenever a kneegro leaves the democrat plantation, he's the one who's called a house nigger or an Uncle Tom. Yes, how dare he think an independent thought and actually turn away from the party that tried to vote down the Civil Rights Act, but now has seems to have mastered the race card.

They dems have convinced 90% of blacks that they have no future without the party to take care of them. As much as the truth may hurt at times, Cain is exactly right about the brainwashing.

nothing really will change until a younger and wiser generation steps up to the plate and changes things but that is only part of the solution as there is a genetic component as to how we all think.

until lobbying is drastically reduced in US politics not much if anything will ever change for the better.

and the GOP does the exact same thing except they funnel money to their constituents via back channels and not out in the open so they can continue to spread & repeat the "lie" of being the party of fiscal responsibility.

It's their money, they earned it...

So they are just getting their own money back as appose to taking money from someone who has earned it for someone who hasn't...
