Get Shredded!
Would like to discuss lifting and Hernia. I am not a gym weightlifter but stay in good shape. I got a inquinal Hernia lifting 80 to 100 pounds off the floor and carrying the weight short distance. Did this 4 times consecutively. Don't remember feeling pain at the time. These were somewhat awkward bags of cement I was lifting. My question is, have any of you folks got a Hernia without immediate pain at the site. I started feeling pain that night/next day.

I think I have heard of some people getting hernias very slowly with no pain but one thing I can tell you is get it fixed before it gets worse

I was diagnosed with two of them (Inguinal hernias) months apart...for me I never knew I had them until showering and felt these small ?bubble? feeling lumps down Around the groin area...I had been Deadlifting for years With no idea. Surgery was quick. For me involved small incision and use of mesh patch
It?s been years and all well with no adverse effects today
