Hey Dp/w8.......................................

Ok so my concieved bulking plan is failing me:mad: Its not that is doesn't or can't work, I have just found that I cannot STICK to this type of eatting plan. Its quite frustrating really. I mean I am allowing 250 carbs daily, you'd think that would be enough to satisfy me. However, I am finding its HARDER, yes HARDER to stick to this meal plan than the lower carb/higher fat plan. I am finding I am MORE hungry, anxious to eat, using larger measurements and veering off "clean" carbs. Ex: I had tortilla wraps:eek:, not too mention the muffin thing:grin:

Anyhow, I decided I am going to try the bulking diet for women, since you guys seem to know your shiat. But there are a few questions I'd like to raise:

First, for those that are unfamiliar, this is the diet:http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/s...adid=5988&highlight=bulking+with+slow+burners

* I have read when bulking, the most important time to consume carbs is POST w/o. I workout at 9pm-1030pm. BY this plan, the last meal only inc 4 strawberries OR 1/2 banana. I am thinking I may need to switch some meals around?

* The PS states "this would work as a cut for 150-160lb woman....Thats me...esp with all the bloat:p (I was up to 160lbs!!!! My weight has come back down to 152 on a good day. My hips are fuller, but my arms are more muscular than ever.:D ) So my question is, do I need to amke any adjustments?

*What is the advantage of "shake like meals"? I thought real food was always better....

*Finally, cardio? I have not done ANY and have consumed more carbs than Rosanne BArr on a bad day:grin: Do you suggest I do some over then next few days? I plan to start this on MOnday. I am gonna wiggle into it over the course of the next few days.

Thanks SO SO SO much. See I told ya I am lost without ya!

I am actually quite frustrated. It seems for some reason unless I have a strict eatting meal, I go on a frenzy. WTF? its all or nothing I guess:(

Now AFTER I post the above, I see this:

I know I have been slacking with the postings...I was on a horrible binge roller coaster, but I HAVE recovered!! I have been "clean" for the past 3 days. Whoopde doo LOL

I have gone into my bulk, because there is no need to up my cals cause I did it on my own. I was gonna do the Ladies bulking diet but after a lil reading I decided to hold off. I thought I would try something diff for the fisst 4weeks.
I think DP and W8 will not like my new plan, but I really believe carbs are needed for gaining mass... I am doing a
35%P25%F40%C split. I am having 4 meals with primarily carb/protein and 2 with priamrily fat/protein. Carbs pre and post workout (I have never had carbs post w/o ever, but think its needed) anyone have any opinions/feedback?
The carbs are clean of course and I am have steak/sweetpotato and green beans post w.o.....

I am working out with my man, who is PUSHING me to do my best.. I have never lifted this hard in my life

Anyone take R-ala? DP-W8? anyone? Does it really work?? Is it expensive?

In my JOURNAL:(

Sounds like she has been hanging out at T-mag.com LOL. Oh by way John berardi used to be my old training parnter ; )

I am sure he is just not around and will get back to you later.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Sounds like she has been hanging out at T-mag.com LOL. Oh by way John berardi used to be my old training parnter ; ) I like to run a 50/35/15 P/C/f ratio when LEAN BULKING, i think it should be more based on total caloires rather then every one getting hooked on food percentages and worrying about a few percentage points. Just set yourcalories and after 2 weeks increase it by 250 or untill you start to see changes. If feel fat add in a session of cardio. People make this more complicated somes LOL SHEESH

hardasnails! Did you train with John berardi?!?!

Posted it twice so thought I'd ask.

Ok guys, I am glad you are having fun:p

But I really need some help and hope to hear from the Team:D Or any suggestions on WHY I cannot handle carbs LOL

Maybe it's all just a mental thing. I have the same problem. I love carbs/sweets. If I eat good carbs I end up eating bad carbs also. I really can't seem to help myself.

It's like an alcoholic. To stop drinking they can never touch another drop but if they have just a little they may end up going nuts and drinking alot.

First of all ....FUCK YOU Pony boy (and those that know me, know that I don't usually slam people)
I have helped more people just for the sake of helping them...than you will ever know.......thousands...and asked for nothing in return......

ALSO.....

My "No Comment" was quoting Leslie with bolding around her saying "DP and w8 won't like this!" That was the POINT...I also bolded DP to show that it was IMHO...only!

Second....Leslie, you were given a transition diet, a diet that would have eliminated ALL of the problems you have encountered.........eased you into the "Woman's bulk" etc.

Now my advice would be to go back....do that for 3 weeks instead of 2, and then proceed with the bulk.

.....you were taught how to eat as a lifetime plan as you are insulin resistant...you must figure this out, no matter what your goals. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!

Les...we also left you with our best advice on how to bulk with a minuimum of BF. You have/had chosen a different path.

As for you questions....yes solid food always has priority over liquid, meals are interchangeble except for bedtime, and cardio IS NOT advised.....and Leslie...we have never turned our back on you......we are both available, and have been available by PM.

And Les, Fade is totally right. It is a mental thing.

Basically, during the cut, you had a focus to be real strict for - your competition. So any hunger pangs or cravings were nulled by your fierce will to succeed. You got the pangs and cravings because your body wasn't happy to allow itself to get so lean, so they were it's defense mechanism against starvation.

Now your focus is not as strong, and your goal is to actually put on weight (not fat obviously). Your defiance of your brain is not as resiliant because you're not working up to one ultimate destination. You're still lean, so your body still isn't happy where it is regarding bf level, so the pangs and cravings are still evident. And you're giving into them.

You need to set yourself short term goals, such as looking the same bf wise next friday, only weighing 1lb heavier (or the like).

Get the focus back, and then you'll be able to handle the cravings and pangs a bit easier.

Wow! Someone is pissed.

By the way, Les is one lucky biatch if she can be IR at that bf%.

Fade~ Well put!

TCD~ You are totally right! My focus is off> Also very well put.

DP~ I am sorry you had to endure comments from all. That was not my intention. I wrote this thread before reading my journal.

I have been to other boards and sometimes the more you read , the more confused you get. I also have my BF telling me I need a shit load of carbs ect. I allowed my self to believe I can eat regular and not gain fat...Guess what, can't happen LOL

I guess I was looking for a more "appealing" meal plan, but if there was one EVERYONE would look like fitness models. The truth is if it looks too good to be true, it probably isnt.

Dp, your style has worked for me in the past and I truly believe they will work in the future:) I will do the plan for 3 weeks then do the bulk:grin: I am mad at myself for falling off so badly, but lesson learned. Thank you for your help. I will be sending PM"S your way, I just hope they do NOT contain the letters FF OR the word MUFFIN:grin:

And, please, please DO NOT ask for BW or BF % LOL

I stand by my statement, even though I realize I've probably pissed off a lot of people here, unintentionally of course. I realize it might have been uncalled for, but it's my personal opinion. If I was wrong, then I was wrong. No skin off my back. These boards aren't meant to be a popularity contest.

Way back when I first started posting on these boards (over six months ago) I asked for advice from DP and he sent me a message back telling me I have to pay for his advice if I wanted help. First impressions count for a lot. It simply said to me that you choose who you are and aren't going to help, according to what I have no idea. I'm not going to bother trying to figure it out.

I understand that DP has helped a lot of people out in the past, and that's all great and good. There are many on these boards who have done the same. If you would like to discuss it further, please feel free to PM me.

Great post and very well said!

Les, understandable that your body craves carbs!! You just came off a loooong cut and you deserve a break! Take your well deserved break both for mental and physical aspecsts!! Don't feel guilty!! When your break is up, you'll feel better and will be able to stay on track easier!

Plus if you need a goal, you can use every Friday to post pics for us! :p

Best idea yet!!!

Why would you reduce carbs if you workout at 10:30 pm?

IMHO, Fade put it better than no other, in terms of carb cravings, give yourself a little and you will not stop.

PS, Les, I know some people at a new gym I train at who competed in your show.
