I've always been interested in purchasing a dip stand, i already have a pull up bar, but its kind of like just one u screw into a door way which is a little inconvienent, so i was browsing around and i found this
Amazon.com: Power Tower: Sports & Outdoors

what do you guys think, i read alot of reviews, it seems pretty stable, my only concern was if when doing pull ups if it would topple over

look up a pheonix powerstand 2 you can do push ups, dips, wide grip pullups, normal chins, hanging knee raises. best thing out there for a home multi station. very stable a pain to put together but very stable and works wonders.

cool i would say go for it i suggested the pheonix becouse that is what i have and i love it. i got mine a few years ago and it still stands and is awesome. weider puts out a good product my home wieght bench is weider. so i would say go for it if you will use it for all that it is there for. if not save your money they are a little pricey but if you use em they pay for themselves.

i actually thought they were rather cheap, i cant find a dipstand under 150$ just the dip stand alone, so i was like whoa thats a good deal for the dip stand and pull ups and knee raises but yeah, ill prolly buy it once my tax refund comes ;) i love tax season

They both look good, if I had more space I would definitly invest in it.

This might be a dumb question, but what are the black bars near the bottom for? The ones with what looks like a thin sheet of metal in a curved form.
