OK, I'm done lurking. Might as well post.
I'm a 28 year old male. 6', 220lbs. The weight should go down to around 200-205 this winter. I've recently returned to the gym after 10 months of strictly bicycling. The idea was to get thin and lean through large amounts of cardio. Well, the plan didn't work. I got better at bicycling, but got weak and gained fat.
In the ten months that I didn't weight train, I felt like I aged 15 years.
So, I've been back for three weeks, and I feel great. I'm gaining strength and energy like I'm in high school again. In a way, I'm glad I took the time off. I feel more motivated than I have felt in the last few years, and it showed me what training has done for my life.
So that's my intro. I'll see you guys around.
