high protein low carb

Hi, just wondering if this diet would work for cutting I basicly have a strict high protein low carb diet through the week but have one day a week where i eat pretty much what i fancy including carbs as im hoping this will help bring the metabolic rate up again and will stop me from gaining to much fat again when i re-introduce carbs to my diet. any advice would be great.

Sounds like exactly what I did to lose 20 pounds of fat in a short period of time.

I'm reintroducing carbs into my diet on my post workout meals, a baked potato, some fruit and veggies. And I'm still looking forward to my weekly cheat meal.
