So ideally we would all like to eat 6 meals a day and never be hungry in the middle of the day.. Honestly for a lot of us that's not possible... I know there's different bars and such that can be used to tide you over, but I'm lookin for ideas for something to snack on between meals when regular food just isn't enough.. I have had a hard time thinking of anything that's not killer on carbs or calories that won't mess up my cut, so, who's ghot ideas???

Jerkey, cottage cheese, nuts, yogurt, meat, cheese, protein shakes, etc.

I have one that is better than any other that you will see....low carb, lo cals and an average of 26g of protein for a serving that WILL satisfy you......YOU MUST TRY THIS...On a regular cut i eat it daily as a whole meal.

Go to your local "Wild Oats" or "whole foods store"...if you dont know what that is or you guys dont have one , then go to a market where there are a bunch of dirty stinkin hippies who voted for Obama just because it was "cool"....and buy this;

"Chobani" brand Greek yogurt, get the plain PINK cover kind, thera are others BUT DO NOT GET THEM as they are high inc arbs and sugar, and LOWER in protein.

Combine one whole yogurt, with a serving of peanut butter (1 heaping teaspoon or 31g) then add about 4 small packets of splenda or how ever much you want, splenda makes it freaking sweet and tasty which masks the negative taste of the yogurt....then mix the three together until nice creamy and thick which will be easy to do with just a spoon...then I add a half serving of blue berries (which is about 70g or about a hand full)...mix and eat I SWEAR ON MY SPERM COUNT THAT IT WILL BE THE BEST THING EVER...

Nutrition facts:

"Chobani yogurt" - one whole cup is one serving.

100 calories
7g of carbs
0g of fat
18g of protein (whey and casei, very good for what we are doing)

Peanut butter - natural
32g = 200 calories
7g of GOOD fat
7g of protein
0 carbs

Blue berries
140g of blue berries =
70 calories
18 carbs
0 fat
1 protein

You can also use half the peanut butter (about 16g) to reduce calories because the penut butter will really be noticeable in the yogurt at any amount....

During a regular cut, i use two yogurts, 1 serving of peanut butter, one serving of berries which is about 450 cals, 35 carbs 7g fat and about 48 protein....excellent

jeez this is a huge post

i'll down some slim jims (yeah i know too much fat) and several whole hardboiled eggs.
some days its lowfat cheese and nuts.

If ur on a bulk then you cant really go wrong with peanut butter and jam sandwiches

wheat (whole grain) bread
natty pb
sugar free jam

protein shake ( my preference is whey mixed with milk)

BOOM!

+1 for the jerky...it's in most stores so if you are caught away from home it's good in a bind. I think a normal 3.5oz bag is close to 50g of protein, too.

It will require a bit of prep but i take 200g chicken mince, ~50g shredded zucchini, 20g red capsicum, 20g black olives and ~15g low-fat feta cheese, make it into meatballs, cook on a non-stick pan and you have a fairly high protein, low carb (relatively high fibre), low fat meal.
