I lived in Vegas when he played for the Thunder and he was absolutely fantastic to watch. He's also a great regular season player, but he just hasn't panned out in the play-offs like you would have expected.

#1 in the draft? I seem to remember an Eric somebody that went #1 too. I wonder what ever happened to him?

Yeah, take away Alexei Yashin, and Ottawa has pissed away some top draft picks: Alexandre Daigle (#1 overall), Radek Bonk (#3), Bryan Berard (#1), Chris Phillips (#1). They just SUCK at drafting!!!

No, no, I'm not in any way implying he was a bad pick, I'm just saying that being a #1 draft pick doesn't automatically make you a Hall of Famer. Hell, right now I'd take his one goal over THREE of our future Hall of Famers.
