Wrong section Danny.....but if I were you I would just increase your calories.

oo. well i had breakfast around 1 which was 4 eggs and 2 pieces of whole graind bread. then around 2 i had 4 pieces of whole grain bread 2 stacked on top of each other glued together with peanut butter. then around 2:30 right before i lifted i had 2 pieces of whole wheat bread glued together with cottage cheese right before i lifted

I've never heard the term glued together when referring to bread. I'm def using this one from now on. Right now I'm thinking about having some deli meat with two slices of bread glued together w/ mayo.

Shorten up. Keep it under an hour. The body turns catabolic (burns muscle) after an hour of intense exercise without any food. Either shorten up or include a peri(during)workout shake.
A big ass water jug helps out a bunch too.

idk wats wrong with me. my workout should not take more than 45 minutes.

How many total sets are you doing? Figure 2 minutes per set averaged over the entire workout. This allows for moving between stations, setting up, and putting the weights away. Unless you're doing 45+ sets, you shouldn't be going past 1.5 hours.

Try this. Keep a log. Write down the time when you start each exercise (not each set, each different exercise). When you're done with that exercise, write down the time. Try to keep your normal pace. When you are done, see where you're spending too much time.

Early in the workout? Perhaps you're not warmed-up enough. Late in the workout? You're starting to drag. Cut down the number of sets maybe. BSing with friends? :finger:

anything in the water? or just regular water? i drink a few bottles when i lift. that definetly helped
Just claen water is what I use, but some guys around here like gaterade type sports drinks. I recall a thread a few years ago that was all about the beni's of gaterade vs water and blah blah blah. Some even do protein shakes while they work out ...

Play with that a little and see what works for you. It's what we all do, mess with things 'til we find what works on our own individual metabolisms. You definitely will not harm your self by trying various ways of hydrating yourself while you get your grunts on.

how the heck does that workout take you 2 hours? Are you resting 5min. between exercises?
