Hello,

I've always wondered if it's better to eat 6 meals a day or spread it out evenly throughout the day?

I ask as I don't get enough breaks to eat meals so I secretly eat all the time in small amounts. It's seemed to work over the last year and a half but does anyone no any downsides or plus sides to this?

Except from always being hungry! :(

Cheers

If you eat a regular meal, xxx amount of calories to make a total of x,xxx calories a day, you shouldnt be hungry within the time of one meal to the next. I eat around 5 times a day, each meal consisiting of 400 to 500 calories, and I am not hungry inbetween meals. If you dont have the time (which you should manage to have/make) then if you eat/snack whenever, I guess thats ok, as long as you know what you are consuming and you still keep a good ratio of protein/fats/carbs.

What I eat seems to be sorted, but I find if I put it all into 5 or 6 meals am not "as" hungry.

But as soon as I spread it over the day I feel hungry and could eat allot more.
It would be interesting to see what happens if I kept eating until am fuller! Would my gains increase better? Although my food bill now sits at an average $50 a week now :(
