No offense but I have bigger biceps and im 14 and only after 2 months of working out :)

No offense, but only a 14 year old would say that.

to the thread starter: my personal opinion is that you do not need to worry about bulking or cutting. you are young, and you are just starting. bulking and cutting is used by people who are very very advanced, usually by those who compete. Also, they usually use it when they are close to a plateau, meaning their growth/advancment is slowing down. In the beginning stages, your advancement is not slowing.

at the beginning stages, you should concentrate on your form, hitting all your body parts (lots of people who start out train only chest and bicepts), making sure you get a good solid workout, and just eat right: get adequate protien, carbs, and cals and stay away from junk.

I have been lifting a long time, I still don't really use bulking and cutting strictly because I can still make gains by switching up my workout and eating right.

Well, I just finished the last workout I'll be having before I get my wisdom teeth out. I'm getting them out tommarrow morning, and it's right in the middle of my current split. Not the best timing. I just hope I don't lose too much strength, I have a feeling my diet will suck for the first 2 or 3 days, so wish me a fast recovery guys:D.

 Been there done that, wish ya luck, its kind of hard for the 1st couple weeks diet wise for your ability to chew will be non existant. It gets better twards the end of the 2nd week provided there's no problems ie: dry socket. But like everything else everyone is different. I was putting steaks down by the end of my 2nd week but my wife on the other hand was so sore she was on soft foods for almost 4 full weeks; but she had a dry socket developed and bloodless (hence the term dry socket) in 72hrs that refused to start healing up for quite some time, as most thats the case. And the ironic thing was at that time I smoked and did damn near everything they tell you not too and she did everything by the book. Just all depends on the person. But not to scare ya anymore or anything but you can get rid of the thought of being back to even close to "par" in 2 or 3 days not gonna happen. You're desire will be there no doubt but your body and the meds your body will be on will be telling you different. Especially if you're getting all 4 out. Take it easy and rest rest rest....:thumb:

Yeah, so I finally felt good enough to get up and read a little. The anesthetic wore off and I took a vicatin which made me pretty tired.... I haven't eaten anything all day, because I'm not even allowed to. I can move my jaw and everything fine, but I'm guessing it would hurt to chew at this point. All I've had today is water and pills. At least tomarrow I can have things like scrambled eggs, shakes, soup etc.

Also, how can you tell if you've developed a dry socket?

Hmm, I might actually be able to have soup tonight, the doctor called and said I could.

I just had mine out about a month ago. I mostly just had yogurts, milkshakes, hydrocodone and mashed potatos. Just make sure you dont drink out of a straw and follow the dr's directions and you shouldnt develop a dry socket. I never got one so I wouldn't know how it felt, but I imagine it would be pretty painful. Also make sure you dont get any food stuck in the sockets because a few days later you will have a rotten food taste in your mouth that is horrible.

The pictures are in my gallery (not the greatest, but they work I guess).

Ok, well I've been training since about mid-november, a week or two after I found these forums and learned a lot about eating right and training right (still have a long ways to go in both learning and application).

I'm wondering right now if it would be more beneficial for me to cut right now, or continue a slow bulk. What do you guys think?
definetely bulk up. Id say about another 30-40 lbs will do the trick.

You should be glad your not having to have them taken out when at age 30 that's when I had one of mine taken out- still have to go back and get 3 more taken out and i am now 32 !!

Oh and hey even i had 14 inch biceps one time , we all start off that way unless were just blessed.

Yeah, that's true. Although, they were 13" just in dec./jan. so I'm making good progress :D.

Got to love the vicodin. I broke my ankle once and seperated my shoulder twice in the past year. Probably consumed between 300-400 Vicodin in that time...Maybe even more? That shit is great. I spent 14 weeks sitting in my basement with my broken ankle poppin that shit like candy. Side not; I find it weird that they say vicodin is highly addictive yet I popped more of those than I have asprin in my life and stop as soon as the last perscription ran out.

I've only taken two vicodin total... One last afternoon, and one before I went to bed. The pain is to the point I can deal with it with just the ibuprofen (sp?). The Vicodin makes me feel too tired/disoriented....I don't like it.

Ok, I admit I have been taking roids and now I have man boobs *crys* lol

Im just kidding!!!!
