Only kidding....

I was just wondering what you all had for lunch today....Or, what you are going to have for lunch today. I'm always short of ideas for lunch. Seems I'm always eating chicken salads or ham sandwiches.

lol

london broil with peppers, brown rice and salsa....god i hate dieting.

i been eating...(dont flame me)...homemade fried rice...im tryin to keep it clean but its soo good..and my appetite has been off lately..my new recipe for the rice is...tablespoon of sesame oil(lots of mono and poly fats in it) white rice(im asian) shrimp or chicken or both, and some lite soy sauce and whole egg...it is the bomb..little hot sauce helps too

Lunch today was baked chicken plus some green beans, peppers and onions. As was yesterday's and the day before that. Damn, am I boring or what?

Big turkey sandwich with cheese on white bread. Breyers Blueberry Yogurt and a banana.

Six boiled eggwhites, cottage cheese and 2 bananas.

4 baked chicken breasts, steamed vegetables and cottage cheese. I HATE chicken! I'd rather have a juicy steak.

Then have a steak. It's loaded with protein, isn't it?

I usually eat nam tok neua (sai prik nit diaw - gin khaow niaw mai dai protwaa tam ooan!) or tom yum goong (mai pet) and sometimes gui tdeaw. Hmmmmmmmm... very healthy and good for maintaining a slim waistline :thumb:

Neua Nam Tok Grilled Beef Salad

200g (7 oz) beef sirloin, marinated in a little fish sauce for a few hours.
4 red shallots finely sliced lengthways
1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon fresh coriander (Cilantro) leaves
1 table spoon Chinese shallot, sliced
1/2-2 teaspoons roasted chili powder
2 tablespoon ground roasted sticky rice (see below method)
30ml (2 tablespoons) lime juice
15ml (1 tablespoon) fish sauce (Nam Pla)

   Lol!

I thought that would confuse some people!

I actually live and work in Bangkok, Thailand. Luckily, the vast majority of the food here is delicious and *very* healthy.

And, by the way, 'mai pet' does not refer to little fluffy animals, but means 'not spicy' in Thai!

:D

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Beer!!!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Doughnuts!!!

Chicken or steak strips w/lettuce, thinly sliced cherry tomatoes, olives, red onion in a whole wheat pita bread wrap and topped off with a little Vadelia Onion Dressing or Italian Dressing. :p

Peace:cool:

I just want to let you know that today's lunch was baked chicken plus some green beans, peppers and onions. Didn't want to keep anyone in suspense. :funny:
