We are all aware of the importance of exercise in maintaining our physical health. Did you realize, though, that exercise can also help you stay mentally fit?

Yes, you heard it right. Exercise not only helps us in physical fitness but also keeps us mentally healthy.

People who exercise on a regular basis do so because it makes them feel extremely good. They are more energetic throughout the day, sleep better at night, have better memories, and are more relaxed and optimistic about themselves and their life. It's also an effective treatment for a variety of mental health issues.

Let’s talk about a few psychological benefits of exercise-

Helps with Depression and anxiety- Exercise has been scientifically proven to improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. Endorphins, the body's famous "feel good" chemical generated by the brain and spinal cord that promotes feelings of happiness and euphoria, is increased by physical activity.

Decreased Stress-
Reduced stress levels are another mental advantage of exercise, which can make us all happier. Increasing your heart rate can truly reverse stress, improving not only cognition and mood but also thinking that has been muddled by stressful experiences.

Increased self-esteem and self-confidence- Regular exercise can help you reach a variety of physical goals, such as boosting endurance, decreasing weight, and developing muscular tone. All of these accomplishments can add up to a huge boost in self-esteem, as well as the confidence that comes with it.

Better Sleep- Exercise can also help you obtain a good night's sleep if you're having difficulties sleeping. Physical activity raises body temperature, which can help to relax the mind, resulting in less sheep counting and more sleep.

Brain Boost- Exercise improves brainpower in a variety of ways, from increasing intellect to improving memory. Studies on mice and humans indicate that cardiovascular exercise creates new brain cells—a process called neurogenesis—and improves overall brain performance.

Exercising is a great dopamine booster for me. It does not have to be a lot: just a walk or a bicycle ride already makes me feel much better and helps me fight anxiety.
I have struggled with anxiety and depression for a long time, and I have already tried so many things to get rid of them. My last resort is physical exercise, and I am also planning to get an emotional support animal. I have never thought I needed one and that it would help, but I have nothing else to choose. Maybe having another living creature around will make me feel not that alone.
I also want to get this animal (probably a dog) all the necessary registration certificates from esaregistration.org right from the beginning, so there are no issues later on.
