While I may not have as much experience as some, wisdom comes from sense, not old age. Obviously an experienced person may have an advantage, but it takes an intelligent person to put that advantage to use. How many people have been lifting for years with no results? Too many. Education > experience.
Besides, books are typically much more informative than misleading training and crap routines.

This is true, but do you realize how many people don't have the knowledge to change their routines if they're not working? All the experience in the world means nothing if you don't have the knowledge or sense to act upon it.PWGriffin said:Experience is the best teacher though squaggleboy. Weighttraining is all about finding out what works for you. Everyone here started working out at some point in their life and the first few months to a year was just spinning their wheels...unless they were lucky and had a great mentor right off the bat...I wasn't that fortunate.
Oh just what I wanted to hear. Wisdom comes from sense not old age. Thank i'll stop listening to my Dad and start listening to all these 16 years who know every fucking thing. Shit the 16 years now days seem like they get there information from the 6 year olds. So what's wrong with my 53 year old ass listening to Snailboggin.Squaggleboggin said:Ditto.

Not you in particular, but a lot of people aren't very happy when they hear something that contradicts what is always said. Sorry some people don't understand logic. Experience is nothing without the knowledge and sense to learn from it.
Again, so many people have been working out for years but know absolutely nothing about how to make new gains. They don't have a clue why they can't seem to get bigger or stronger. They have the experience. You tell me what they're lacking then.
