How long do you stay with your routine?

Meaning the exercises on a given day. I change mine every week, but the downfall is never knowing if I gained strength on those same workouts.

Change is a good thing. We know that. However, whats bare minimum to stick with the same exercises? When plataue(sp?) occurs?
 
Exercises don't generally need to be changed very often. I change the lifting parameters far more than I change the lifts usually. Things are a little different right now using a Westside template. I change the exercises all the time based on my weaknesses that are constantly changing in the big 3; this is also because this template is damned stressful on the nervous system. Frequently changing the exercises helps reduce this. However, there is a pool of exercises I pick from so that I can track progress effectively.
