How long does it take the body to adjust to protein intake? If it do?

I want to know because I take shakes on and off and they make me sick. Milk by itself use to do this, but my body adjusted itself (I think) and now I'm use to it. My question is, will my body adjust to protein intake if I take it on regular basis? Or would I just keep wanting to :barf: out my ass! :laugh:
 
Are you drinking your shakes with water or milk? Also, you should slowly increase your protein intake over time. doing it all at once is not the best option especially seeing your having issues ;)
 
yes, we need more info. what type of protein powder ? how much protein powder ? how much milk, etc. ?

100% Whey with whole milk.
 
Yeah, I would skip the milk and use water. You will probably notice a big difference.
