Right now my arms are 16.5 cold..........right now i preacher curl 115 for 7 reps and close grip bench 235 for 8 reps. its seems as if i am getting stronger but when i measure my arms they are still the same 16.5 . how much weight am i going to have to push, relative to the numbers i am doing now, when my arms will be larger and not just stronger. any help would be greatly appreciated

I would say it is genetic.

Is the rest of your body growing? Have you changed your rep/set scheme recently? And, have you tried supersets? My arms were "stuck" before I started a superset workout and I've put 1/4" on them in a few weeks. These are two superset schemes by Joel Marion that I've used with great success.

The 8-4-4 method
Do 8 reps, drop the weight 10-15%.
Immediately perform as many reps as possible, drop the weight 10-15%.
Immediately perform as many reps as possible.
Do 3 sets with 2 minutes rest between supersets.

The 6-12-25 Method
Do 6 reps, drop the weight 20-30%.
Immediately perform 12 reps, drop the weight 2-30%.
Immediately perform 25 reps.
Do 2 sets with 2 minutes rest betwen supersets.
Worth a try to jumpstart some new growth.

Good luck. :thumb:

Takes Time Bro

IT TAKES TIME I DIDN'T START SEEING CHANGES PHYSICALLY FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS AFTER I STARTED LIFTING. I MEAN I SAW A LITTLE BIT BEFORE BUT AFTER ABOUT 5 MONTHS I STARTED NOTICING BIG TIME AND SO DID THE PEOPLE AROUND ME. ALSO YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTANT. IF YOU'VE BEEN LIFTING FOR A WHILE AND YOU'VE GOTTEN BIGGER AND CAN'T GROW ANYMORE, THIS MEANS YOU NEED TO START BULKING. I'M DOING THIS RIGHT NOW. :rocker: OH YEAH AND QUIT MEASURING YOUR ARMS EVERYDAY YOU'LL JUST BE DISSAPOINTED :bawling:

Its ALL diet. ALL DIET. Can I say it a couple more times?

ITS ALL DIET.

I just recently learned this. I cut for a couple of months, and I ate WAY clean, I just ate too much, and I lost a marginal amount of fat. I started cutting again, and I dropped the cals, Ive lost, in a week, what it took me a month to lose last time.

Granted I changed up my routine, and whatnot, I attribute it all to diet though.
