Hi i'm new to this forum and need help getting started

I'm 5'5 and weigh only 125 pounds and i'm 22, i want to weigh around 150 to 160 so about a 25 pound game or so and i want to do it within a year. How do i calculate how many calories i need to intake on a daily basis? how should i get started? where do i get healthy meal plans? what type of excercise should i be doing?

Anyone'z help is highly appreciated

In reference to your diet questions, check out the response I gave you in the diet section.

In terms of training, you are definitely going to have to start hitting the weights to pack on that much weight. I would suggest acclimating yourself to the rigors of exercise by beginning with some bodyweight exercises: squats, pullups, pushups, situps, etc.

Once you do that for a few days a week for a couple of weeks, then get ready for the weights. I suggest sticking with free weight compound exercises to begin. You can move to isolation movements and machines later when you have discovered what your lagging body parts are in terms of size and strength.

From those 125 pounds, how much of it is fat? Are you a little chubby? Not little chubby like I am saying that you are not tall, not that, I mean, little chubby, small amount of fat in the body.

You wrote a pissed off reply and edited it, didnt you?
It is alright, I didnt express myself properly, I mean, if you have a normal body with bf at 10%, it will be rather easy to gain those 25 pounds since you are just beginning but if you are around 18%, bulking will be kind of difficult.

I don't really know how much bf i have i'll have to make a trip to the doctor'z office to find out and no i didn't write a pissed off reply i just changed it because i thought what i wrote didn't make sense.

one more thing, how do i know how much
protein:
carbs:
fat:

i need to consume for total caloric intake??? is there a certain amount of grams for each i need to take i don't know how much of each i need.
