I have been on a program for several weeks with the goal of gaining mass. My program is a 4 day cycle: day1-chest/tri's day2-legs/abs day3-back/bi's day4-shoulders/traps/calves
Instead of working out 4 days per week with 3 days of rest, I have been working out 6 days a week with one day of rest. (i.e. After day4, I start over again with day1's workout in the same week) Am I overtraining? Do my muscles really need 3 days per week of rest? I appreciate any help.
