how many sets?

how many sets does every one do per workout?
 
I like volume so I hit between 16 and 24 which includes compound and iso moves
 
Vieope is one of my favorite forum members...

I do approximately 9 working sets. My goal is strength and I use low volume, high intensity methods.

im more like you...i dont go over 10 working setts per bodypart. got to do very high intensity. if you train hard enough you wont be able to do a great volume of sets...i used to think more sets=more mass..wow was i wrong. ive put on great size and strenth using lower sets
 
3 exercises per body part (eg - Bicep - EZ bar,Alternate dumbell seated,preachers) , 3 sets per exercise. 3*3 = 9 :clapping:

I've done from as little as 10 to as many as 56 (courtesy of Twin Peak).
A more normal load for me is 20-30 total sets per workout.
 
6 set per muscle group MAX normall do 3 set per muslce group now.
 
5-8 for large bodyparts (chest/back/quad)
3 for small (tris/bis/calves)
 
An entire workout will contain about 15 total work sets for me.
