How much do ya'll deadlift?

I used to deadlift 405 when I was a skinny teenager. Decades later, I do not do deadlifts at all. Even a 135 pound warm up can cause me so much lower back pain that I will be in bed for weeks, so I avoid them like the plague now. I wish I could still do them. I still remember what it felt like, especially in the traps!

Sounds like you need to work on your form.

One guy that posted on this thread had the balls enough to put a picture up.
Snap a photo or you are all fuckin' lying. Fantastico was right. E-lifts.

I stopped using tren and lifting heavy after I dislocated both my shoulders at the same time.

All I care about is looking good naked now.

If I had some of the injuries you guys have had I'm not sure i would lift at all.

I would be in the yoga classes.

lol damn. You dislocated them while DLing? Was it some insane number that you never tried before or something?

Yea, I've been there...good mornings, stiff legs, and hypers fixed me up. And lots of stretching! Remember Matt Dimmel? He tore both hamstrings off and ended up getting back to squating over 900 before he died. It can be done...just takes a little patience. If it was easy, everyone would be deadlifting 700!

I do all those... well I don't do SLDLs anymore due to back strain, so I do Romanians DLs instead. And true, maybe 700 is a lofty goal.

I don't talk to anyone in my gym to trust enough to give them my cell to snap a pic of me. And I don't have a video camera.

Hola Amigos.....

Just wondering what ya'll deadlift. Im 30, 5'11'' and my weight has skyrocketed up to 224lbs in week 10 of my Test cycle (See my sig).
My deadlift has gone up but not like my bench and squat. I pretty much do the same weight on all 3 big compounds now. Deads are something I never learned when I was younger and just started doing them a couple months ago. Current stats..

Deads - 315 x 4
Bench - 315 x 5
Squat - 315 x 8

I don't deadlift much anymore, but back when I did, I was pulling 233.6 pounds for 1-3 reps (at only 105 pounds body mass).

The same with squat - don't do this anymore (or when I do, not heavy at all) since my lower body gains mass even looking at the weights, LOL, but my 1RM was 336.6 pounds back in 2008.

Bench is not that great at only 187 pounds for 1-3 reps (yep, my bench is not higher than squats and deads).

no idea how or why i can deadlift as much as this guy...hes got like at least 20 more pds of muscle

I don't think that's weird..

If you ask me, everybody has their own "strength" and "weaknesses".

Some are strong as hell in benchpress.. while others seem to have an incredible strength in their back (deadlift), or in squats... some are lucky and are very strong overall.. I mean... it seems that some are just a bit stronger in some exercises than others.. Even though they work out all the muscles equally.

gave up deadlifting heavy due to bad back problems years ago so now a days i never go over 225

what could they do in a couple seconds with your phone?

I guess you have to understand that I'm weird about all my shit. I don't like people I don't know touching anything.

Maybe your form is better or you're stronger in the hams, quads, and lats but just less muscle elsewhere.

I pulled 630 a few months ago before moving to a COP here in Afghanistan. I weight 230-235. I also did 505 for 5. Not much for bench like most so I get a big dick loading up plates at the gym while everyone stops their workout to see me! LOL I LOVE IT! Oh yeah Im 31 soon to be 32.
