how much does 1 table spoon of pure caffeine powder weight?

I was at smoothie king just a bit ago and I added caffeine (well the worker did) to my shake and for $.99 you get 125mg of caffeine. After my drink was made I asked the worker what she used to measure the caffeine and she used a table spoon. This seems a little much for .125 grams of caffeine but I do not know the how dense caffeine power is.

Bro, When i would buy PURE caffeine anyhydrous in bulk, the dosing was something like....1/8 tsp = 400 mgs. (im fairly certain)

Who knows what the purity of the powder she used. A tbsp sounds like an anxiety attack from hell followed by hours of hand wringing.

I'd bet that is mixed/diluted with some sort of filler to make measuring easier. My coworker had some pills that were 250mg and several other things - you could easily dump the contents of 3-4 of them in a tablespoon.

I just called the store and the girl said it was pure caffeine and she used 1 tablespoon. She's going to have the manager call me when he gets in b/c she looked on the bottle and it didn't say anything as far as contents.
