And,how many calories?

btw, check out this badass breakfast I'm eating:

Kashi has this instant cereal called GoLean Creamy Vanilla Instant Hot Ceral (you can get it at super walmart)
Per bag:
150 cals
25g carbs
6g sugar
350mg Omega3 (flaxseeds)
9g protein

With a scoop of vanilla EAS prot. turns this badboy into

290 cals
32g protein

I throw in fuit too, just yummy

what part of phoenix are you in? Or do you live downtown?

I don't think you will ever get a set answer on how many grams of protein the body can metabolize in one meal.

Got a place out in Vistancia. Like 5 miles south of lake pleasant. (practicallly east LA) ;)

Yeah I've been meaning to talk to you and Jodi about doing some speaking about fitness and nutrition. I co-founded a professional development club in town made up of business owners, entreprenures, sales professionals pretty much anyone who is focused on improving their lives through increasing their skill sets and effective goal setting.
I did a workshop on fitness / nutrition / health, based on the stuff i've learned in this forum and BFFM and we had one of the biggest turn-outs. I'd love to explore the opportunity to have one of you two, or both come in and do it right.

That sounds cool.

Check out my blog. I usually post up info about speaking engagements that I have coming up.

I have a few coming up in March at my facility, including a 10 week health and fitness focus group working on goal setting and implementing healthy lifestyle goals. As well as about 6 different seminars for high school coaches on how to set up and implement safe and effective strength and conditioning programs for their athletes. On wed. march 21st I will be at the Scottsdale Wholefoods, doing a free shopping tour (more info in my blog).

Do you have a website of your company?

I have never heard of the town you live in (not saying much though. I haven't bee out here that long).

Oh excellent,
Is this all your material that you deliver?

Vistancia is really more nw peoria, like 303 and happy valley road. Cool community poppin up but lifepower has a building in scottsdale keirland area by the air park. The site is www.lifepower.net pm me your contact info i'd love to hear more about some of the seminars and events that you do.

i've tried that kashi cereal stuff.

health-wise it seems pretty good (aside from the sugar, which might be a tad high for a cut.)

if you can stomach it go for it!

personally tho i switched back to oats, that stuff tasted like water with chalk in it.

Is what all the material I deliver? I can send you an outline of the information that I go through in the 10 week seminar. if you are interested (or know anyone that is interested).

We are right near the Keirland area. We are at Scottsdale and the 101, just north of the shopping center where the big border's books is. If you would like, give me a call or send me a PM and I can have you come down and check out the facility sometime and talk a little bit about all the things that go on there. Maybe we can strike up some sort of deal or corporate wellness type program for those coming from your company? Do you own the company? I would like to hear more about what you do.

i will pm you my contact info.

Question, is the 6g of sugar included in the 25g of carbs or extra?

Question, is the 6g of sugar included in the 25g of carbs or extra?

It is always included:

25g of carbs, 6 of which are sugar.

Just like labes that list saturated fat:

12g of fat, 4 of which are saturated.

I love oats too.. but when running late, its better to chow down this stuff rather than stop off at QT and get a candy bar dressed up like a health bar ;)

theres the link to it, I'm actually starting to become a fan of these guys. I make a badass shake using 1/2 cup of their cold cereal, EAS vanilla prot. rasburries, cinnamin and yogurt.
*drool*

the cold cereal in that shake makes it taste so ooOoooo yummy

I'm almost positive it's based on your LBM, considering your Fat tissue doesn't metabolize and utilize protein for anything, but the rest of your body does.

The number, I have no clue, but I would estimate that anything over 60g of protein at one time is pointless. I can't see that much being used at once.

THe one thing that CAN be measured is how long protein is in the body after you eat it, and if I am right most scientist place that around 2-3 hours (which is why we BB's try to eat that often right?).

I personaly consider protein over 40g at one time just as calories (depending on protein quality) .

I think there are protiens qualities that last longer and so you could take more and it could be utilized in the muscles.

On the other hand, I am not a scientist, and it's probably different for everyone's LBM, thyroid, androgens, and GH.

Damnit this sh*t gets complicated. IDK. 40.

theres no universal answer. it depends on each person's weight, metabolism, level of physical activity, etc.

This is half right. It depends is right. The thing is, there is no formula, no magic number, beyond which food (or protein) cannot be digested. If if you eat 20 grams, your body will digest it. If you eat 40 grams, it will digest it -- it will just take longer. So the short answer is, stop worrying about this question, and simply set up a happy and healthy diet.
