Should I limit how much Splenda that I eat? I like to sweeten my oatmeal, cottage cheese and sometimes my fruit. Is it bad to use it so frequently?

I wouldn't go above 5-6 packets a day. Mainly for health reason and the fact that too much can make you crave sugar.
I Don't like to use splenda. Because once i get a taste of sweet I want more.
Splenda also makes me bloat!!
I only have one packet a day and it is usually on my oatmeal
I keep in mind that it is a chemical...too much of any chemical is trouble...and telling myself it was made in a lab helps me not to over due it.
Isn't this relative to his/her weight, height etc?? I can't imagine it being an all size fits all?? Its kinda like telling everyone to limit their protein intake to under 200g/day without knowing their stats?
BAH i hate stevia

Just something about stevia rubs me the wrong way. It's TOO sweet
Health and safety is my concern. It took SEVERAL years to find out that sweetnlow and aspartame caused negative side effects. Splenda is too new. Personally I think xylitol and stevia are your best options.Isn't this relative to his/her weight, height etc?? I can't imagine it being an all size fits all?? From Oct 05 to Aug 06, I was using Splenda on my oatmeal every morning. I didn't think I was using very much, but after 10 months I started having serious stomach problems. I was having the same symtoms as an ulser. I went on Zantac for 3 months (stopped eating oatmeal) and got better. In December I went back to my diet and started having problems again. Jan 1st was the day I realized what was causing the problems and dropped Splenda from my diet. The symtoms slowly disappeared after 3 weeks and I've been fine ever since.
Be careful with that stuff, just a heads up.
