After 6 years of not having any kind of consistent workout program I'm gradually easing back into the saddle. However in the past I never really took my weightlifting seriously, I basically just kind of went in the gym haphazardly and I guess I got lucky because I managed to build a great physique with no knowledge. Now that I'm older I realize I need a plan if want to get the most out of my efforts.
Can anyone suggest the best way to split up my workouts? Right now I'm just trying to get used to lifting again and I'm working out with machines at the local gym. (Unfortunately this gym does'nt have a lot of free weights) I'm a little unsure how to split up my upperbody workouts. Any advice I can get would be appreciated.
