Can someone give me a step by step for tanning in a contest. I am new to this and need to know what to do and what products work. I am fair skinned if that helps.

I am a Canadian competitor and the standard tanning prep in all the contests I've entered seems to be 2 - 3 layers of Pro Tan followed by Dream Tan.
A lot of contests ban the use of oil.

That's what I do. I'm fair skin, and going out to the beach or pool for hours would not do the job. I would end up looking like a lobster.atherjen said:start off by getting yourself a decent base... tanning beds a few times a week is a good start.
