how to gain weight?

ok i will, but why? what does gluten do?

Here's a ref: Celiac disease - sprue - PubMed Health (or google more info).

Gluten and other food allergies seem to be some of the most common (anecdotally speaking) sources of issues w/ nutrition / digestion that people don't know about.

As mentioned, it would be useful to see a typical day's meal plan - e.g. does she eat a lot of wheat (gluten)- based food, for example wheat bread, etc.?
 
If she has celiac, gluten will damage her intestinal tract, and prevent her from absorbing iron, and nutrients. It's a blood test. Just promise me you'll ask the doctor to test for it. The tip off was anemia.
