Just curious as to what changes need to be made while going from a bulk to a cut as far as the training part is concerned.

Current training regimen is

Chest/Triceps
off
Back/Biceps
off
Legs
off
Shoulders/Lats/Abs
off

Focus is on compound movements with some isolated movements thrown in. Reps usually in the 6-8 range.

HIIT once a week on off days.

Thanks for your input.

Just play it by ear. Obviously if you're cutting calories you might take a drop in energy, so just adjust the volume per session as necessary. Perhaps cut a set, or the less critical movements all together (see: isolation). Just make it more streamlined.

Other than that, ive never made particularly huge changes when cutting. Ive still lifted as intensly as when on a bulk in terms of rep ranges and stuff.

Indeed - just try to keep the iron on the bar. If you find the poundages slipping, drop the volume so you can keep up the intensity.
